Discover the benefits of osteopathy, a holistic therapeutic discipline that addresses the body as an integrated system. Drawing on in-depth knowledge of anatomy, our osteopaths use manual techniques to restore balance and promote natural healing.
It is a discipline of healthcare that focuses on the structural integrity of the body and its ability to self-heal. It is distinguished from other practices such as physical therapy and chiropractic, although they share some techniques.
In addition to treating and preventing injuries, this therapy provides additional benefits: it increases blood and lymphatic circulation, strengthens the immune system, and promotes deep relaxation, reducing stress and improving sleep quality.
Our personalized approach is tailored to your needs, restoring mobility and promoting overall health. We offer you a 50% discount on the first session, so you can experience the benefits of our home osteopathy service.

Physiotherapy and osteopathy are therapeutic disciplines that share the goal of relieving pain, promoting mobility and improving quality of life, but they differ in their approaches and techniques.
Physical therapy focuses on the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders through therapeutic exercises, massage, soft tissue manipulation, and physical modalities. Its focus is based on rehabilitation, strengthening and functional recovery. For its part, osteopathy takes a holistic approach, considering the body as an integrated system. Osteopaths use manual techniques to evaluate and treat musculoskeletal dysfunctions, but they also focus on the relationship between the body's structures, the nervous system, and circulation. Its objective is to restore balance and promote self-regulation of the body.
While physiotherapy is more specific and focused on treating injuries and dysfunctions, osteopathy seeks to address the underlying cause of the problem, treating the body as a whole.
In short, physical therapy focuses on rehabilitation and strengthening, while osteopathy seeks to balance and promote self-regulation of the body. Both disciplines are complementary and can offer significant benefits in recovery and increased feelings of well-being.
Osteopathy can provide a number of benefits for your specific condition or health problem. Through manual techniques and a holistic approach, osteopathy seeks to restore balance and promote self-regulation of the body. It can help you relieve pain, promote mobility, improve circulation and strengthen the immune system, which will result in a general improvement in your quality of life.
The main focus of osteopathy is based on treating the body as an integrated system, where structures and functions are interconnected. During sessions, osteopaths use gentle manual techniques, such as joint manipulations, muscle stretches, myofascial release, and mobilization techniques, to identify and correct dysfunctions that may be causing symptoms.
The number of sessions recommended varies depending on the condition and individual needs. In general, 3 to 6 sessions may be required for optimal results. However, this can be adjusted depending on the patient's response to treatment and the complexity of the case.
CEach session lasts 50 to 60 minutes. Regarding the frequency of appointments, it is generally recommended to space them one to two weeks apart to allow the body to respond and adapt to the treatment. The osteopath will evaluate your progress and determine the most appropriate frequency for you, adjusting as necessary during the treatment process.
Our osteopaths have qualified training in osteopathy and physiotherapy, providing a comprehensive approach to address your needs effectively. Their experience guarantees specialized and quality treatment. We are committed to offering professional attention adapted to your requirements.
While osteopathy sessions are generally safe, some patients may experience temporary side effects. These may include tenderness or mild discomfort in the treated areas, temporary fatigue, or changes in sleep patterns. It is important to communicate any concerns or relevant medical history to the osteopath before treatment to minimize any potential risks. In rare cases, more serious side effects may occur. However, these are extremely rare and your osteopath will discuss any potential risks before starting treatment.
During the sessions, various manual techniques are used adapted to the specific needs of each patient. These may include joint manipulations, gentle mobilizations, myofascial release, and therapeutic stretches. It is essential to highlight that the perception of pain is subjective and varies from person to person. Although some techniques may cause a sensation of pressure or mild discomfort, they should rarely be painful. Open communication with your osteopath is essential to adapt the techniques according to your comfort and tolerance. The priority is to guarantee effective and comfortable treatment for each patient.
NotBefore an osteopathy session, no special preparation is necessary. However, it is recommended to wear comfortable clothing that allows the osteopath to evaluate and treat the relevant areas with ease. It would be beneficial to inform the osteopath of any previous medical conditions, recent surgeries, or medications you are taking. This information facilitates a more complete and personalized evaluation. Additionally, it is important to communicate any significant changes in health since the last session. Transparency and open communication contribute to more effective and safer treatment.
Yes, in most cases osteopathy can be safely combined with other medical treatments. It is crucial to inform both your osteopath and other health professionals about the treatments you are following to ensure proper coordination. Collaboration between different medical disciplines can be beneficial to holistically address your health. However, it is always recommended to consult with your primary doctor before starting any new form of treatment, including osteopathy, to ensure it is safe and suitable for your specific medical situation.
